More Flow Flexibility & 2026 Challenge Autopilot Schedule

DATE:
AUTHOR: The Avidon Health team

This month’s updates put flexibility, clarity, and forward planning in the spotlight. We’ve enhanced Flows for a smoother participant experience, constructed the lineup for next year’s Challenge Autopilot schedule, provided more control over Challenge availability, and made it easier for participants to track their contributions in team Challenges.

Here’s what’s new in a nutshell:

  • Navigate backwards in Flows and configure them as single-use.

  • Preview the all-new 2026 Challenge Autopilot lineup.

  • Manage Autopilot and On-Demand Challenge availability independently.

  • See individual team member points directly on the Team tile in Challenges.

Enhanced Flow Experience: Backwards Navigation & Single-Use Options

Two powerful enhancements are now available in the Flows system, making it easier for participants to engage while giving administrators greater control.

Backwards Navigation (Read-Only Review)

Participants can now move both forward and backward within a Flow. Returning to a previous step allows them to review responses without making changes, ensuring clarity while preserving data integrity, especially for Flows with branching logic or automated actions.

Single-Use Flows (With Resume Support)

Flows can now be configured for one-time completion, a setting most suitable for assessments, onboarding, and surveys. Participants can:

  • Complete the Flow only once.

  • Resume exactly where they left off if they exit before finishing.

  • Review their completed Flow in read-only mode, including backwards navigation for full visibility.

These updates make Flows more reliable for structured processes while still supporting a transparent, user-friendly experience.

2026 Challenge Autopilot Schedule in the Works

We’re finalizing the 2026 Challenge Autopilot schedule (and it’s an entirely fresh lineup). Each of the 12 monthly Challenges will be new to Autopilot, designed around national health and wellness themes and seasonally relevant topics to keep participants engaged all year long.

Note: All Challenges in the 2026 lineup will also be available as templates which can be individually customized and enabled without enabling the Autopilot feature. Keep an eye out in the coming weeks for the finalized schedule and details related to each Challenge.

Separate Availability Settings for Challenge Types

You can now manage Autopilot Challenge settings and On-Demand Challenge settings independently for your portal.

  • Autopilot Challenges follow a scheduled calendar, with upcoming events planned in advance.

  • On-Demand Challenges can be launched anytime, giving participants the freedom to start when it works for them.

This flexibility means you can enable one, both, or neither to tailor your challenge offerings to your community’s needs.

See Team Member Points at a Glance

When a Challenge includes Teams, participants can now see their individual points displayed right next to their name on the Team tile. This makes it easy to track personal contributions in relation to team totals, spot top performers, and celebrate individual and team success with a glance.
