Annual Content Review: Current Science, Current Language

STAGE: Recently Released

Health guidance moved fast this past year, and Avidon’s content is keeping pace. Our annual content review checks every content category against the latest clinical guidelines, statistics, and inclusive-language standards, then updates whatever has changed.

What’s Changing

  • Current clinical guidance—Content on blood pressure, nutrition, alcohol, cholesterol, diabetes, cancer screening, and COVID-19 is aligned with current recommendations. Sources include the 2025–2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans, the CDC, and the Surgeon General.

  • Refreshed language and resources—Content uses person-first, weight-neutral wording, with current crisis lines and links. It includes “talk to your doctor” prompts wherever medication, screening, or treatment decisions come up.

  • Where it lands—The updates cover the content library, the Alcohol and Easing into Exercise Habit Builders, and the Blood Pressure and Nutrition courses.

Why It Matters
