NEW CLIENT SUPPORT HELP DESK
We have launched a customer service portal specifically for client use. All of the FAQ's in this portal are tailored to the client.
The distinction between the end-user and client portals helps us better serve our all of our customers.
What this means for the User:
Nothing. End-users have their own support portal.
What this means for the Client:
Common questions and issues can be resolved by going to this portal and searching.
INTERNET EXPLORER 10x NO LONGER SUPPORTED
On January 12, 2016, Microsoft officially discontinued support of the Internet Explorer 10.x web browser. Over the past couple of years there has a been a steady decline of users using the Internet Explorer web browser. At the same time, the online industry has been moving toward the TLS 1.2 security protocol for SSL/HTTPS websites to support a more secure environment while surfing the web.
Not only do IE 10.x users represent less than 1% of traffic on the SelfHelpWorks website, but IE 10.x has support for TLS 1.2 disabled by default. As more and more websites transition to TLS 1.2 exclusively, less and less websites support TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.2 only. We are likely to drop support for TLS 1.0 in 2019.
SelfHelpWorks has considered all of these factors in its decision to drop support for Internet Explorer 10.x. Here are our system requirements.
What this means for the user:
When a user logs into the SelfHelpWorks website with the Internet Explorer 10.x web browser, they will get a warning that SelfHelpWorks does not support IE 10.x and some functionality may not work. It is then recommended that the user upgrades their web browser.
As of today, we are not aware of any functional issues with IE 10.x and the end-user can continue to use the website. However, we will no longer test the IE 10.x web browser with each release and over time the website may become less functional for IE 10.x users.
CUSTOM FAVICON SUPPORT ADDED TO PORTALS
A favicon is a small image appearing in a web browser tab next to the page name. Currently the SelfHelpWorks logo displays in this location:
We now offer client portals the option to customize the favicon. This is an expansion of already-existing white labeling capabilities that enable enhanced branding.
What this means for the user:
Users will see a more consistent branding theme.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR THE CLIENT:
Increased capacity for branding alignment allows a stronger association and integration between your brand and our product.
