This release introduces the master-email configuration tool inside the admin website. This new tool enables clients to customize email templates at the portal level.
Email Template Configuration Tool
Various email communications are sent to members through the Engagement Rx system as reminders, course progress markers, for content delivery, and for coaching purposes. The layout of all email communications is based on a standardized, system master-template. The standardized layout determines tags within the email and the arrangement of basic components including the welcome message, the email body content, and the support link.
With this release, clients can now customize the master template at the portal level with an editor tool in the Settings module of the admin website. This editor allows the client to alter the layout of email components and set replacement tags for system variables.
Here is the view of the master template in the editor tool:
- The rich-text editor allows basic formatting, linking, and image uploading.
- The replacement tag and prefab dropdowns enable the insertion and rearrangement of tags, including the email body content, member first name, company brand logo, login directions, and the unsubscribe link. All of these elements can be customized for placement in the email and for portal-related specifications.
- Clicking inside the email components allows editing of the block text and placement.
Once edited and saved, all email communications to portal members will reflect the new template.
In coming releases, there will be more functionality added to the messaging tool in the admin website.
