This release contains a description of the new admin website and minor changes regarding the course calendars.

New Updates & Features

NEW ADMIN WEBSITE

SelfHelpWorks is developing a client portal to better service our customers. The new client portal is currently in beta and includes an informational dashboard and an improved set of reports, and it enables clients to self-manage accounts for staff and/or clients.

The Dashboard

The dashboard displays a range of information related to users in your company and the latest news from the SelfHelpWorks product blog.

Summary report tiles

At the top of the dashboard there are three tiles that summarize the following:

  • Which courses have been started (and by how many users) in the last 30 days.
  • Sessions and segments completed in the last 30 days, by course. A total for all courses is also displayed.
  • Portal logins in the last 30 days, broken down by age group.

User Feedback

Beneath the summation reports is a section that displays recent feedback from users in your company, if any has been given. A carousel will allow you to view various feedback and give you insight into user experience.

Product info and release blogroll

At the bottom of the dashboard is a list of the most recent articles from our product blog. Each tile contains a title and short synopsis of the article. Clicking on the "Read More" link in any tile will take you to the associated article.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR THE CLIENT:

Functionality, presentation and ease-of-use were all held in high priority in the creation of this website. It provides a view for in-depth user-activity statistics, the latest feedback from users, and easy access to the SelfHelpWorks product blog.

PRE-COURSE ACCESS TO COURSE CALENDARS

There are two versions of the calendar, both of which lay out the course schedule.

Calendar view: This option enables the user to see how the sessions are scheduled on a standard calendar.

List view: This option simply lists the sessions in order, with the basic session information in each tile.

Potential users can now toggle between these two views even before they've started a course.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR THE USER:

This update allows people who are considering a course to see how it will unfold in the upcoming weeks.
