Coming End of Year: Platform & Program Updates
As we close out the year, we are making several important updates across branding, courses, domains, and calculators. These changes are designed to simplify our offerings, modernize our approach to health and wellness, and prepare the platform for 2026 and beyond.
Branding Updates
The “LivingX” suffix will be removed from all calendar-based course names to simplify naming conventions and improve clarity.
Course Updates
The course “Getting Active (LivingFit)” will be officially retired on January 5th, 2025. It is being replaced by our new and improved course, “Easing into Exercise,” which is already available in the platform and offers a more modern, supportive approach to building healthy movement habits.
Users who are already in progress with “Getting Active (LivingFit)” may continue the course uninterrupted through March 30th. For all other users, the course will no longer be available and will display a retirement notice along with a prompt to begin “Easing into Exercise.”
This update ensures a smoother, more engaging experience for anyone looking to ease into physical activity at their own pace.
Domain Updates
The selfhelpworks.com and engagementrx.com domain names will be retired.
Going forward, all client integrations must use the avidonhealth.com domain. This ensures consistency, security, and long-term maintainability across all integrations.
Calculator Updates
BMI Calculator Retired – BMI is increasingly seen as an outdated measure of health. In line with modern standards, it will no longer be offered.
“Resting” Calorie Calculator Retired – While once useful for weight management, this calculator reinforces restrictive behaviors. Removing it supports our holistic coaching philosophy, focused on sustainable habits and long-term well-being.
Why It Matters
Consistency – Unified branding and domain naming improve the experience across all touchpoints.
Relevance – Updated course and calculator offerings align with modern health coaching practices and member needs.
Sustainability – These changes reduce friction for clients and better position the platform for innovation.
